Phillip
D (Fish) Fisher (Justin Timberlake and more)
Fish
is currently touring with Justin Timberlake and uses
a set of ddrum Triggers on his acoustic drums to beef
up the sound.
Fish
started playing on his dad's drums when he was about
five years old. His dad then gave him a drum pad, a
metronome, sticks, and a book, told him what to do,
and he did it!
When
his brother Norwood invited Fish to play with him and
a friend from his music class in junior high school
during lunch, Fishbone was born with Norwood on bass
and Fish on drums. Fish was in the sixth grade at the
time.

Since
the early 80's, Fishbone has been an extremely eclectic
band playing such styles as funk, punk, ska, reggae,
avant garde, jazz, and whatever made the "thang"
feel good and nasty. Fishbone influenced bands all over
the world to follow in this genre fusion.
Fish
left Fishbone five years ago to explore greater depths
in various genres as well as healthier working and financial
situations. Since that time he has played studio sessions
and live gigs with many artists and has shared plenty.
With
apologies for any omissions and in no particular order,
Fish has played with Res, Les Claypool's Frog Brigade,
Nikka Costa, Snoop Dogg, Lucy Pearl, Joi, Hootie and
the Blowfish, Tre "Slimkid" Hardson (from
the Pharcyde), Little Richard, Weapon of Choice, Macy
Gray, P-Funk, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and he is currently
touring with Justin Timberlake.
